"Video Art" Workshop

After several sequential discussions, Rybon Art Center came to this conclusion that there should be a more professional focus on Video Art. According to this necessity, Rybon prepared a Video Art workshop in several parts.
First part was a three day workshop that basically focused on technical training which are useful for making a video Art. Mehdi Ganji (Cinematographer, documentary director) and Mehrdad Malakooti (Sound mixer) were two great artists who leaded this workshop. On the first day, Mehrshad Malakouti and Rana Shangele who are almost familiar with video art topic, talked about Audio signals, Sound recording devices, Audio Channels, Microphones and common related tools. Javad QolamRezaei was in charge of the software training part of the workshop such as New Endo. Camera and lighting were discussed on the second and third day of the workshop. Mehdi Ganji taught participants to work with Sony Z7 camera as he talked about Imaging in cinema. He talked about the importance of lighting and how to use all these facilities to take an acceptable footage for a video art. Ashkan Ashkani was in charge of teaching how to work with Canon 5D Mark II.
At the end of the workshop participants had an experience as a team to make a short movie.
