"From Experimental Film to Video Art" Workshop
"From Experimental Film to Video Art" Workshop was held on Wednesdays from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in nine sessions. For each session, there was a screening and there was a discussion around the film. Pouria Jahanshad was in charge of this workshop. Pouria Jahanshad studied screenwriting in Sinamagaran Javan institute, directing in Rouzaneh institute and advanced directing in "Tehran Film" institute. He is the producer and director of some short and feature documentaries such as "Mysteries of Little Gold Fish", "A perfect Dinner", "Look at Me", "Incomplete Moon", "The Familiar Frame", "Impossible Duality" and "A Portrait of A Woman Besides Me". He attended in several festivals and won special mention award in Naoussa short film festival in Greece for the "look at me". He has also written cinematic articles for newspapers and magazines such as Filmnegar, Hamshahri, Shargh, Cinema-Haghighat ,Herfe Honarmand and so on.
As an international, nonpolitical, autonomous initiative, Rybon Art Center aims to promote innovation and experimentation of art among established and emerging artists and to explore the possibilities of exchanging ideas and knowledge across ethnic, regional and artistic borders.
